The second quarter of 2024 has shown noteworthy patterns in the usage of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in the US. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of these apps in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

McDonald's app downloads started at 8.5K in the first week of April and saw a peak of 9.6K towards the end of May, concluding the quarter with a significant rise to 9.9K. Weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at 106K, reaching a high of 121K in mid-June, and then slightly dropping to 108K in the last week of June.

Domino's Pizza Ukraine experienced a varied download trend, starting at 282 and peaking at 374 in mid-April, then gradually decreasing to 155 by the end of June. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with an initial 1.7K users, which incrementally declined to 1.2K by the quarter's end.

For KFC Qatar - Order food online, downloads saw a modest start at 193, peaked at 228 in the second week of April, and ended the quarter at 136. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 401 to 303 over the same period.

The KFC UAE (United Arab Emirates) app showed a steady increase in downloads from the beginning of April with 61 downloads to a high of 116 in the second week of June, ending the quarter at 76. Weekly active users witnessed an upward trend, starting at 132 and peaking at 189 in June, before closing at 166.

Lastly, McDonald's Hong Kong saw an initial download number of 174, with a slight peak at 193 in the second week of April, but then experienced a drop to zero downloads in mid-May. The weekly active users started at 3.7K, peaked at 3.8K in the third week of April, and ended the quarter at 3.4K.
